The first born Martin attended the academy for hotel management, but as if that wasn’t enough he also studied law, and is a certified lawyer. He combines his two passions working both in the law office, in which he is a found partner, as well as working in all areas of the hotel. He is also active in the township, as an elected official he is responsible for finance, youth, civil protection and tourism.
He married his wife in 2004. They met when they both were inters in a law office in Bolzano. Monika has since given her heart the hotel and stopped practicing law. She is the new female soul of the hotel, and since January 2011 the proud mother of Manuel, the first born. Since July also his sister Anna, since April 2014 Lisa and since April 2016 little Lena bring new happiness to the hotel.
Both Martin and Monika love the outdoors and enjoy skiing, hiking cross country, running and mountain biking. So if you need advice or have any question, they’ll be happy to help.
Mother Liesl has been the good soul of the hotel for 40 years. She makes sure that everything runs smoothly so you can enjoy your stay. In the winter she tries to get on the slopes as much as possible, and in the summer she has a real passion for porcinis. Nobody will ever find as many as her, and if you are lucky you can come along and enjoy fresh “tagliatelle “with porcini for dinner.
Richard, the senior boss, is running the back office. He has a green thumb and makes sure that fresh vegetables from our garden are a main ingredient in your dinner all summer long. He is also the manager of the legendary “Kastelruther Spatzenfest”, a Tyrolean folk music event that yearly attracts up to 40000 visitors.
